Our breakfast is best enjoyed with plenty of time so that you can have a cooked breakfast, several somethings from the big buffet selection, and watch the birds or just chat to other guests.
On the buffet we always offer two homemade breads, maybe three, a fruit salad or fruit compote, homemade granola, a muesli base with nuts, seeds, and dried fruit to mix your own cereal, a choice of homemade jams, marmalades, and spreads, yoghurts, fruit juices, and mostly something sweet (usually, but not always, freshly baked muffins).
For cooked breakfast there is a delicious traditional full English breakfast, as well as several other hot options including fried haloumi, Belgian waffles and American pancakes, both ensuring some variety for a longer stay, and something for people not so keen on the full English. Vegetarians have plenty of choice for cooked breakfasts and we can cater for special diets as well.
We no longer serve salmon as we don't believe the sustainable salmon is actually very sustainable, and it is certainly not friendly to the salmon. Wild salmon is an alternative, but is too difficult to get hold off as well as too expensive.
We offer a "take away" breakfast, giving both the chance to start the day early to swim / watch a sunrise / do a long day out or have a real relaxed morning. There are a variety of options including yoghurt, fruit compote and granola pots, various baps, sweet muffins and juice.
