Green Goddess Smoothie

Recipe Details

This smoothie is good as an immune booster, as it includes green tea, plenty of Vitamin C and beta-carotene. The below serves two generously.

Blend it all together, maybe adding a few icecubes for both making it colder and thinner. If you have a strong blender you can get it really smooth just by blending it, if your blender is not so good, you might want to strain it into the glasses.

Green Smoothies?

I have been rather sceptical about this idea of putting spinach and kale in my nice smoothies, thinking that all I would taste was spinach. I decided it was time to try it anyway, and I’m really positively surprised over how good it tastes. I have tested it on a bunch of teenage girls, who bravely took them, and several actually asked for the recipe. Jim has been my other tester, and though his inital reaction was “that looks very healthy” = “I don’t really fancy that”, he decided that it tasted good. My youngest daughter still remains to be convinced but at least she doesn’t think it’s disgusting! If you are not already into green smoothies, I recommend you try them.
